What is AOKLINIK PRP Therapy?

Platelet-rich plasma therapy is a process whereby blood is drawn from the patient’s body in a manner similar to that of a blood test, which is then placed in a machine that separates the blood cells, platelets and serum. This is then re-injected into the area of the body requiring treatment or rejuvenation and is sometimes referred to as ‘Vampire Facial'.

How is the procedure done?​

1. A small amount of blood is collected from the patient’s arm.

2. The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is separated by spinning the patient’s blood through a centrifuge.

3. The PRP is combined with a filler to create the longer lasting platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM).

4. A topical cream is applied on the patient face for numbness.

5. After 30 minutes the gel is injected in different areas of the face.
